The value for money at this hotel was excellent. Despite the affordable prices, the attention to detail was impressive. From the beautifully appointed rooms, complete with African artifacts on the walls and even on the floors, to the lovely outdoor spaces including a private sun terrace, every corner of this hotel had been carefully designed to create a unique and atmospheric experience. Additionally, the location in the lovely area of Linden was perfect, with shops and restaurants within easy walking distance.
All was satisfactory and met my expectations.

Stayed at Cherry Tree b & b during September 22 to October 5 . The hotel is situated in the beatifull northern suburd of Linden. The service is good and the hosts Marelyn and Ron Tyler are great. They can give you good advice where to go in johannesburg especially if you are not familar what this large city has to offer. Johannesburg is often overlooked by the tourists as they head for places like Durban and Cape town. Johannesburg has lot to offer Casinos Museams etc. Its not a tourist destination and that what makes a great place to tour. At end of the day touring this city and what its got to offer this hotel is a home base after a long day out touring. The hosts and the supporting staff are kind and helpfull. If you have a chance come here and stay. Guy Addison (United Kingdom)

The owners were very friendly and helpful. Johannesburg is not a city that you can walk around. The owners of the hotel helped me to organise my trips, arrange transportation with good bargain. And the decoration of the rooms is a must seen. Every room has a theme of its own. Wonderful time I had there. Feel safe and relaxed.
It is not in the center that is bit annoying but having said that in Jonannesburg you cannot walk in the center anyway. Life is trapped in cars unfortunately.

I recently stayed at a charming B&B in a lovely neighborhood, and I couldn't have been happier with my experience. The attention to detail was impeccable, from the African artwork adorning the walls to the comfortable and spacious rooms. I was particularly impressed with the owner's personal touch, as they were always available to offer tips and practical advice. Plus, the breakfast spread was delicious, with freshly prepared omelettes that were a real treat. this hotel provided great value for money and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.
No improvements needed, everything was perfect!

The location was good
The owner is awful and difficult. The breakfast was terrible. The price was ridiculous for something of this quality.

They were very knowledgable about the local area.
The B&B was rediculously priced, they then tried to charge over £100 a night for an extra bed in the room. They were inflexible and had no cancellation policy. The breakfast was awful with pets in the dining room and it was not open at the times specified on the opening hours sheet. I know it is a business but I felt as if al they were worried about was money - whatever it was for only money mattered.
